Run an Event at Fandemonium 2010

The Event Submissions for Fandemonium 2010 is closed now. Thanks to everyone who submitted an event!

Fandemonium, in conjunction with Arson Labs, would like to welcome our event runners to the Flammable Blaze remix, the new way to turn in your event submission forms online! So what does that mean to you, the event runner?

It means you can turn in your event submission form from any computer in a matter of minutes; you get e-mail updates on the status of your event as it is being processed by Fandemonium’s programming division, as well as automatic advertisement of your event on the Fandemonium website as soon as your event is accepted.

For us in the programming division, it means we get information in a searchable database, we can schedule events even faster, and we can schedule events based on a variety of criteria so as to provide a smooth schedule that makes the most of our time.

One of the finest editions to this method of event submission is that there is an e-mail function to help keep everyone up to date! When you submit your form, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail letting you know that we have received your event.  Next, you will receive an e-mail when your event is approved so that you may check over the details and keep a copy for your records.  Finally, when the convention is over, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to take a short survey on your experience as a Fandemonium event runner.  This feedback is essential to making a better convention experience for event runners, and will be used to improve our programming division and staging department.

This year, we are adding a approve/deny function to the submission form, which will help us get the information we need to make a great convention.  It is important that you make sure to answer all of the questions to the best of your ability.  If for some reason, we cannot approve your event as it was submitted, you will receive a denial e-mail containing the details of why the event was not accepted.  Once any problems with the submission have been worked out, your event may be approved by programming.  At this time, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the acceptance and prompting you to check over the details of your event to make sure they are correct.  If you have any questions during the approval/denial process, please feel free to contact us at events@fandemonium.org.

Now while we highly encourage the use of the web based submission form, we will still be accepting mail in submissions.  It should be noted that there will be a considerable delay experienced when using mail in forms rather that the web based form.  If you wish to submit your form by mail, you can do so to this address:
